only One Earth

The world produces around 350 million tonnes of plastic waste each year and a large portion of this ends up on shorelines and close to the coast, where it gets left to sit forever, affecting animals, the condition of the area and the climate crisis in general. From growing up in a seaside town, I have been aware of this my whole life and is something that I am quite passionate about. These photos attempt to portray the less picturesque side of seaside towns, including the littering, abandonment in an off peak season, changing weather, human contribution, and lots more.
